Bioagri, leader in environmental and agrochemical segments in Latin America nowadays, and Silliker, a world leader in analyses of food, together will get potential to attending possibilities for global demands to chemical analysis, on its various segments of action.
Founded in 1991, Bioagri is the largest private laboratory analyses of Latin America, acting on eight different segments (Environment, Agrochemicals, food, drugs, veterinary, Household products, Cosmetics and Biofuels), with 11 units distributed in Brazil, besides commercial offices abroad. The new partner Silliker, founded in the U.S. in 1967, when the quality control and food safety was still at the beginning, has become a worldwide conglomerate recognized as the largest laboratories network in its segment, present in 14 countries where it operates 48 laboratory units. Currently, the Silliker is controlled by the French centenary company Mérieux Alliance, which aims to find practical solutions to food security through researches and consultancy.
Aiming to settle in South America and diversify its operations, the Silliker sought a seriously laboratory, ethical, dynamic and a leader market. After several negotiations, Bioagri and Silliker seal a natural partnership that will enable a very productive exchange at laboratories excellence centers and exchange of knowledge between researchers from Brazil, Europe and the United States.
