Quality Assurance

The Quality Warranty (GQ in Portuguese) is an independent department for studies and experiments, consisted by multidisciplinary professionals highly capacitated in quality assurance.

Through training, inspections and internal auditing focusing on the requirements of the quality standards applied to laboratories (Good Laboratory Practices and NBR ISO/IEC 17025 (Brazilian norm for laboratory standards)) the GQ monitors and guarantees that the studies in GLP are planned, developed, monitored, registered, filed and reported. The experiments are conducted according to internal procedures and requirements from the Bioagri Quality System.

The equipments utilized undergo preventive maintenance and are calibrated by laboratories accredited by the Brazilian Calibration Network (in Portuguese RBC – Rede Brasileira de Calibração), which, in its turn, are accredited by Inmetro (Brazil’s national institute for metrology, quality and technology).

Bioagri aims at constantly improving its work. Therefore, our doors are open for auditing, either by official organs or clients. We successfully implanted the Quality System based on NBR/ISO/IEC 17025, one of the core norms for accreditation of laboratories in the environmental segment. We sum up over 1050 accredited parameters by Inmetro.

Bioagri Quality System (SQB)

In Brazil, Bioagri is one of the pioneers in its segment for establishing and implement a quality management system applied to laboratories, titled Bioagri Quality System (in Portuguese SQP – Sistema de Qualidade Bioagri). Bioagri commits to quality in its work policy. We have adopted the manuals for quality assurance, quality control, procedures and registries, assuring the obtained results quality.

The SQB is based in the Good Laboratory Practices (GLB), in the norm ABNT NBR ISO/IEC 17025 – “General Requirements for Experiment and Calibration Laboratories Competence” and other specific documents and procedures for accreditation, qualification, accreditations and recognition from the official organs and institutes, such as: Inmetro, ANVISA (Brazil’s National Agency for Sanitary Overseeing) , Ministry of Agriculture and Supply (in Portuguese “Ministério da Agricultura e do Abastecimento” – MAPA) and the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD).
